When you hear reports on the news about Afghanistan, where they say things like, “one dead and seven injured…”
This is what injured means. It means never walking again. Missing arms. Mangled faces with eyes that cloud over and become blind. Please, as you pray for the victims in Boston, also pray for those overseas. They need it too.No words…

I know that this has nothing to do with fitness. These people were runners for god’s sake.. Why would someone want to harm them? Four comments up, you are right. THIS. This is injured. Not minor scratches and broken bones, no, limbs ripped off and bodies horribly tortured. I know these images are shocking but that’s what it is, and I genuinely hope that one day people will understand that physically hurting another person does not solve anything. It only makes us undeserving of being called humane.
Seeing these images is so upsetting.. just.. wow. I could not imagine how horrible it would have been to actually been there to witness it all.
So much violence in this world.
